Cuong Dao is a Vietnamese transdisciplinary creative practitioner based at Culture Lab in Newcastle UK. By applying traditional Japanese fiction related concepts, his works focus on exploring creativity in relation to interdisciplinary practices in contemporary digital era. Some of his works have been exhibited in Newcastle’s Culture Lab and Newcastle’s Music Studio.
Cuong’s background is in Website and UI design. He has been working in user interface design for interactive websites and mobile phone applications, games in the past seven years. By working with content formatting, menus spacing, and buttons design, he has longstanding interest in the practice-based study of phenomenology, the way humans experience and interact with digital approaches.
